Bespoke database development for parts

At iGAS we have just begun an in-house project to increase our efficiency by developing a bespoke database of parts.

It recently came to our attention that although our current system works very well, by creating our own semi-intelligent part number database and incorporating this into our unique project management system we could greatly improve the time taken to respond to support & spares enquires, as well as streamline the transfer from quote to order.

As well as increased efficiency, an additional benefit is that we can provide clearer and more accurate details throughout our mechanical design packages, this is due to the fact that each part will have a unique part number which will state the make, model and any additional information such as connection details and working pressures.

We are excited to see it take shape already and are hoping to implement the full version in summer 2015.
