Job Title: Senior / Principal Electrical & Instrument Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at iGAS Technology Solutions Ltd. as a Senior / Principal Electrical & Instrument Engineer.
The successful candidate will provide effective electrical and instrument engineering in relation to new or modified systems, and develop and implement technical operations.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can select the right electrical and control equipment for specific projects
- Can design safety systems in accordance with IEC61511
- Can design control systems for explosive atmospheres in accordance with BS EN / IEC60079
- Can engage in HAZOP / LOPA studies and risk assessments
- Will confidently oversee the specification, approval, and procurement processes
- Is able to lead Factory and Site Acceptance tests
- Can supervise site surveys, audits, and the installation process
- Can conduct pre-commissioning tests and oversee the final plant start-up
- Can educate operational and maintenance personnel
Additional useful skills include:
- Competently uses Siemens TIA for PLC / HMI & SCADA
- Has experience of ignition configuration
- Has SQL and networking knowledge

You will primarily be based at our office in Godalming, Surrey with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement after your initial 3-6 months. You may be required to travel worldwide for business purposes.
