Objective: The client, a major independent Chemicals company wished to develop a market leading Industrial gas (Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen & CO2) packaged gases automatic filling plant.
Whilst the client had extensive experience in the chemicals sector, they had limited knowledge / experience in the area of filling gas cylinders.
The technology adopted was automatic cylinder filling utilising pressure / temperature technique including proportional valve control (“fine fill”) to ensure accurate, repeatable mixtures and reduced heat of compression when filling oxygen, along with minimal operator involvement.
In addition, high levels of safety, quality, reliability and productivity were key drivers in deciding upon iGas Technology Solutions Ltd as their partner.

In addition to supplying line safety manifolds / panels, automatic cylinder filling modules, cylinder filling stations, cylinder filling hoses & connectors and dual language (Chinese / English) AiFill filling plant control system, iGas also played a major role in specifying the cryogenic reciprocating pumps, cryogenic pump control panels, ambient vaporisers, and CO2 electric heaters.
